Change ONE thing in your life with my 3 step "CPR" - a free e-course for you!
I know from my own personal life experience, and working with 1000’s of my coaching clients over the past few years, that if we start small and slowly build ourselves up, bit by bit, that we have a much better chance at making lasting changes. Simply wanting to make heaps of changes in all aspects of life and jumping straight in with both feet, is usually a one way ticket to failure, guilt and disappointment. It can be too much, too fast and thus too difficult to sustain, leading to NO CHANGE at all! This leaves you feeling grossly overwhelmed, totally stressed out and beating yourself up.
If you want to make some significant improvements to your life, why not simply start much smaller and actually achieve the change you want for once? Think about the concept at first as “under-achieving”. In other words if you commit to smaller changes to start with, and actually stick to them, the chances of achieving your goal will exponentially increase. e.g. To fulfill your commitment to increase your fitness level by just 10% in 4 weeks, you could exercise for just 20 intense minutes every day and combine this initially with a small change in eating and drinking habits. This is easy, manageable and you will be more likely to do it, than over-committing to 5 x one hour long gruelling sessions every week. Achieving goals is all about consistency and perseverance and thus you need to do it regularly in order to reap the benefits you seek.
If you are ready to make some noticeable changes on your own, I suggest that you follow the simple 3 step CPR plan, which stands for Commitment, Planning and Repetition. Never under-estimate was you can do on your own when you COMMIT to something, create your PLAN and REPEATEDLY execute it day in and day out. This CPR will build your self belief and self esteem muscles, which in turn will teach you to make bigger leaps next time around. So, start small, achieve it all, and then look for the next goal.
